ABOUT WOLPANEF

Widows, Orphans, Less Privilege and Needy Empowerment Foundation

The Widows, Orphans, Less Privileged and Needy Empowerment Foundation (WOLPANEF) is a duly registered Organization with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria on the 30th day of June, 2021. The Head Office of WOLPANEF is located at Plot 20B, Suit C04, C05, C06 Alheri Street, Adjacent Abacha Road, Police Station, Sani Abacha RD, New Nasarawa, Nigeria.

As a foundation and a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO), the overall objective of WOLPANEF is to extend charity to the poor and less privilege in the society. This will be done by empowering them in various ways through the adoption of numerous strategies, initiatives and completion of social oriented projects, particularly in rural communities. This is to create employment opportunities, increase consumption expenditures, increase disposable income, eradicate poverty, encourage the growth of Gross Domestic Products (GDP) & Gross National Product (GNP) and increase the social wellbeing of the rural populace thereby assisting Government in the implementation of the SDG’s, particularly at rural level of the country.

Our MISSION.

The Widows, Orphans, Less Privileged and Needy Empowerment Foundation (WOLPANEF) serve as a strategic Non-Governmental Organization with effective and efficient network of relevant organizations positioned to initiate social/charitable Policies, Projects & Programmes for the achievement of Grassroots/Community Developmental Goals.

Our VISION.

To be a strategically positioned platform for eradicating poverty through the provision of charity to the poor, vulnerable and less privilege people, while pursuing grassroot developmental goals. WOLPANEF stands to create a truly human world through the initiation of strategies that are sources of social change, reaching beyond content to freeing the human spirit.

WOLPANEF FOCUS AREAS

The focus of WOLPANEF is to provide Social Empowerment, particularly for Grassroots development through the following:

  • Land Acquisition for implementation of relevant programmes and projects of WOLPANEF nationwide for grassroot development.
  • Entrenchment of Agro-based value-chain activities for rural development.
  • Education for the poor.
  • Eradication of Gender-Based Violence.
  • Construction and building of Health Centres & Dispensaries in the rural areas.
  • Facilitating Programme of Action for the Conversion of Plastic Waste into useful products.
  • Construction of orphanage/aged care facility.
  • Collaboration with littoral and non-littoral states for a Programme of action to encourage the Scavenging of Plastic Bottles for Low Cost Rural Housing Projects for the rural pro-poor and salvage environment & marine life.
  • Construction and building of Skill Acquisition Centres.
  • Building of Class room blocks for the vulnerable, disable and people living with disabilities(PLWD)
  • Peace-Building through outreaches, advocacy and enlightenment campaigns.
  • Establishment of Grassroots Action for SDG Implementation.
  • Transitional Justice.
